The role
As a HR Advisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This is an exciting role playing a pivotal part supporting the wider HR function. No two days are the same in this exciting people focussed role.

Day-to-day, you’ll support on employee relations (ER) and human resource (HR) matters. You’ll work alongside with line management and other members of the Human Resource Business Partnering team to assist with the appropriate solutions. 

• Interfaces with First Line and employees
• Providing credible advice in line with best practice and policy
• ER support like absence management, performance management and investigations
• Role model for Babcock Purpose and Principles
• Work closely with the business to ensure that individual solutions are found on ER matters

This role is full time,37 hours per week and is based on site at Staverton.

Essential experience of the HR Advisor:

• Experience of Employee Relations advice and employment law guidance
• Experience of interpretation and implementation of corporate policies
• Experience of working in a fast-paced multi-site environment
• Proven knowledge of HR practices, combined with experience in local change management

Qualifications for the HR Advisor:

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
