The role

As a Training Support Administrator, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will support the training function by booking and prepping future courses and ensuring all completed courses are logged onto the relevant systems, complying with all applicable processes and procedures, to support the effective and compliant delivery of Submarine Training contracts.

 

Day-to-day you will work in the Training Support team completing administrative tasks for the training function and support in the delivery of assessments by ensuring the instructors and trainees have the relevant paperwork for the upcoming courses.

 

  • Manage all training support tasks efficiently, in accordance with applicable processes and procedures.
  • Process and maintain accurate Trainee Records within the relevant systems.
  •  Assist with the entire assessment process, including assessment control, data entry, reports etc.
  • Support Document Control and Configuration Control of Training Courseware 
  • Collaborate on managing annual training schedules, plans, amendments and course bookings with the Planning team.
  • Ensure adherence to the Training Plan and all contractual timelines.

 

This role is full time fixed term contract for 18 months working 37 hours per week and is based on site at HMNB Clyde.

 

Essential experience of the Training Support Administrator:

  • Experience of working with Database applications
  • Knowledge and/or understanding of Security management is highly desirable
  • Experience of document status control (Configuration Control)
  • Experience of operating in a multi-functional team is highly desirable
  • Experience of working in a service delivery environment is highly desirable
  • Experience of working in a busy and dynamic office/administrative environment is highly desirable.
