The role
As a Simulator Operator, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This role is to support Astute Class Operations and Ship Control Training within the Submarine Command Team.
Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
- Training delivery, accountable to the Operations Manager: provide training support to instructional staff and to students with a wide range of experience, (predominantly within the SCTT and SCT disciplines). All training support is to be delivered to prescribed standards and within contractual requirements.
- Administration: to conduct all administration and reporting activities associated with supporting the delivery of training to contractual requirement and also as otherwise directed by the management team

Provide administrative support other business areas. This may include tasks such as Data Management or SQEP reporting.
- Ensure Company health, safety and environmental procedures are implemented and complied with at all times.
This role is full time and based onsite at our Faslane site.
Essential experience of the Simulator Operator:
- Excellent team working and relationship building skills
- Highly organised; able to manage multiple competing priorities
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient user of IT systems, including Microsoft Office suite of software
