The role
As a Senior Project Controls Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You'll lead multiple areas within the business unit for the performance and results of the Babcock Clyde Improvement Programme.

Day-to-day, you’ll develop plans and priorities to deliver objectives and drive delivery through leading and influencing others. You will also: 

• Manage teams to develop, manage and analyse integrated project schedules
• Manage project controls teams to provide cost management/change management/risk & opportunity management
• Provision of regular reporting to the project to provide relevant, accurate and reliable information on the status and forecast of the project.
• Lead the project risk management approach

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements. 

Essential experience of the Senior Project Controls Manager

• Extensive experience in a similar environment/business sector 
• Managed project controls of varying type and significant complexity: including varying products, services, across all phases of the lifecycle
• Full project lifecycle experience from bid phase through to close out.
• Have expert knowledge of project controls toolsets – Desirable

Qualifications for the Senior Project Controls Manager

• We value difference and don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and/or willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you. However, Project Management Qualification e.g. APMPMQ and Project Planning and Controls Foundation are desirable.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
