The Role
As a Project Controller, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be responsible for developing, planning and implementing a site wide safety program.  

 

Day-to-day, you’ll maintain the safety review programme and ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with cost, time and quality requirements. 

 

  • Monitor progress to ensure tasks are delivered on time and to specification
  • Chair safety review working groups to ensure consistency across all facilities
  • Maximising the utilisation and efficiency of all safety case resource 
  • Support the customer to manage and update the strategy documents
  • Reporting of progress and KPI’s to management on a monthly basis 

 

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based at HMNB Clyde, near Helensburgh, and provides hybrid working arrangements
    
Experience required of the Project Controller

  • Significant project planning experience 
  • Primavera P6 experience beneficial but not essential as training can be given
  • Knowledge of safety case methodologies beneficial but not essential 
  • Stakeholder management 
  • Excellent communication skills 

 

Qualifications for the Project Controller 

  • HNC / HND in Engineering, Project Management or other relevant subject 
  • APM Project Management Qualification beneficial

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
