The role
As a Multi Skilled Operative, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. We currently have an opportunity to undertake multi skilled support for the Estates teams.

Day-to-day, you’ll provide support to Estates team to enable the completion of all planned and reactive activities to ensure the department meets the objectives of the Business.

• Support the estates teams to enable the identification and rectification of all system, manufacture, defects and alterations to ensure the continued availability of the Estate.
• Ensure that work is carried out in line with current processes and make suggestions on improving systems and processes to increase productivity in accordance with set objectives and timescales.
• Work within all H&S legislation, Safe Systems Of Work and control of work processes within BM&T Clyde policies

Please note that this position involves manual work. This could include lifting, bending, using tools or standing for extended periods of time.

This role is full time, 36 hours per week, Monday - Thursday and is based on site at HMNB Faslane. 

Essential experience of the Multi Skilled Operative

• We are looking for attitudes and behaviours in line with our Company Purpose and Principles 
• Competent teamworking, communication, time management, prioritisation, organisational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills are required.
• Knowledge of Risk Assessments, COSHH & Safe Systems of Work 
• Must have a valid UK Driving Licence
