The role
As a Delivery Coordinator Scaffolding, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll coordinate safe, efficient scaffold solutions across a complex engineering environment - supporting vital projects that protect national security and the communities we serve. It’s a role where your leadership and planning skills directly enable safe working at height, enhance project delivery, and accelerate your own development in a dynamic, high‑impact sector spanning defence, aerospace and engineering.
Day‑to‑day you’ll be required to:
- Coordinate scaffold delivery, alterations and removals to meet programme milestones and safety standards.
- Lead and mentor advanced scaffolders and contractors, driving a positive safety culture and quality outcomes.
- Plan and sequence work at height activities, aligning resources and documentation for smooth execution.
- Collaborate with Fleet Engineering departments, infrastructure teams, ship staff and project managers.
- Track progress and use IT systems to report status, risks and completions clearly and consistently.
This role is full time, 36 hours per week Monday to Thursday 07:15 – 16:45 and is based on site at HMNB Clyde Faslane.
Essential experience of the Delivery Coordinator Scaffolding
- Leadership experience in a scaffolding or industrial setting.
- Good IT skills for scheduling, documentation and reporting.
- Specialism in working at height and scaffold solutions within engineering environments.
Qualifications for the Delivery Coordinator Scaffolding
- CISRS Advanced Gold Card
- Leadership training or a recognised management certificate - advantageous
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
