The role
As an Advanced Scaffolder Inspector, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Inspecting scaffolding structures across the site weekly.


Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:

  • Provide scaffolding services and support, including scaffold inspection, to engineering teams to enable the completion of all planned preventative maintenance to ensure the department meets the objectives of the Business.
  • Provide scaffolding services and support, including scaffold inspection, to engineering teams to enable the identification and rectification of all system, manufacture, defects, and alterations to ensure the continued availability and performance of Clyde HM Submarines, surface vessels and the Estate.
  • Ensure that work is carried out in line with current processes and make suggestions on improving systems and processes to increase productivity in accordance with set objectives and timescales.
  • Lead or participate in scaffolding operations, both tube and fitting and recognised system scaffold products, in which they have been trained and assessed.
  • Lead or participate in scaffolding inspections in which they have been trained and assessed.


This role is full time and based onsite at Faslane.

 

Essential experience of the Advanced Scaffolder Inspector:

  • SITS qualified.


Qualifications for the Advanced Scaffolder Inspector:

  • Advanced Scaffolder card
  • Gold card – advanced scaffolding

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
