About the role

Here at Babcock International we’re looking to recruit a Training Facilitator (IDT) to deliver high quality training support in line with Company standards and contractual requirements.

Your main tasks will include supporting Defence Sales & Commercial opportunities under the Income Generation Initiative (Babcock, BAE, Thales etc. requesting to use Collingwood facilities, RNLA, SETT, CBRNDC (Excellent), DDS – Any chargeable activity). Checking course availability iaw finance/commercial guidelines as advised by BDO and book accordingly. Liaising with course booking cell and Training Planning to ensure effective and efficient delivery of Training. Updating course information. Sending out Joining Instructions and arrange security/access for students. Providing student briefs to course joiners on Admin Support Functions. PreparingCourse admin prior to student arriving on course iaw with the contract. Arranging Visa/Passport/Embassy/Immigration proformas for international travel. Producing Management Information for the (Balance Scorecard/Accom, meal cards, married quarters, dietary requirements. Production and distribution of Joining instructions and advise on suitability of courses, Coordinating and producing the Nominal lists/training bids and course bookings for International Training Bids. Liaising with Fleet Finance over costing (man hours, simulator, classroom). Liaising between International Defence Training (Whale Island) and MWS Collingwood providing SME support. General Training Admin Support

What do I need to do the role?

You’ll need consolidated experience in providing  facilitative support, ideally in a military training environment.

Would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills for dealing with commercial customers
  • Ability to work unsupervised in meeting key objectives of the job
  • Sound knowledge of office administration
  • Computer Skills – competency with all Microsoft Office applications

What else do I need to know?

  • You should hold or have the ability to obtain SC Clearance
