About the role 

Here at Babcock International we’re looking to recruit an Electronic Trainer to join our training team at HMS Collingwood, Fareham. This site is the Royal Navy's largest training establishment and is the headquarters of the Maritime Warfare School. Babcock International is the maritime trainer of choice and as an Electronic Trainer within our Marine Training business you’ll be supporting us as we deliver world-class training both UK and Internationally. With over 800,000 training days delivered so far we equip people to operate and support the most complex marine platforms, logistics and equipment - using our collaborative, customer centric approach.

 

You will be responsible for the delivery of training to Royal Navy Engineering Technicians in the early stage of their engineering career in the subject area of Electronic Weapon Engineering. You will assist in maintaining and updating training documentation, assess student course work and provide feedback on performance and be responsible for the duty of care of trainees during the delivery of training.

 

What do I need to do the role?

You will need to have a minimum of a HNC in Electrical/Electronics and have some teaching experience.  Full training of Royal Navy Weapon Engineering will be provided. 

 

Desirable but not essential is instructional/training experience within a military environment with a L4 Certificate in Education or equivalent (DCTS Defence Train the Trainer Course DTTT).
