About the role

Babcock operates a significant outsourced contract for the provision of education and training services to the Royal Navy. The training services comprise of Naval technical and tactical training and education, delivered by Babcock trainers as well as training support. The contract is entering an exciting new phase with renewed focus on training innovation, optimisation and collaborative working and this role will provide the support and drive to achieve successful deliver of all aspects of the contract in this new phase.


This role involves contacting learners to check progress against training schedule and to make sure all training is on schedule to their training programme. You will act as a point of contact. This also involves going into the workplace and observing training delivered, as well as ensuring quality insurance.

 

What do I need to do the role?
You will require Previous Warfare Military experience in an Ops room environment and you will be qualified to Level 3 (L4 desirable) or equivalent in: Data / IS / Communications competency or have 5 years proven experience of managing/using Data / IS / Communication systems within the armed services

 

We would also like you to have an Internal Quality Assurance award or equivalent, ECDL or equivalent demonstrable proficiency in using IT applications at minimum L2 and the ability to obtain a DBS/CRB clearance


Finally, you will require the following:
• a Level 2 qualification in Maths/English.
• a L4 Teaching Certificate or equivalent
• an Assessor Award Qualification or equivalent


What else do I need to know?
