The role
As a Service Co-ordinator you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. We aim to deliver engineering-led and world-leading products and services across our Engineering, Specialised Manufacturing, Gas Handling Systems and Naval Marine business streams.
Day-to-day, you’ll provides support for our engineers to service and repair of rotational mechanical equipment
- The successful candidate will have first line responsibility for the updating and administration of the Service Management System (CLIK).
- This will involve planning engineer’s work with supervisors and raising subsequent monthly job cards in addition to service and breakdown job cards. Monitoring of the outstanding job card list will be critical to the role.
- Parts ordering will also be critical to the role and is carried out in conjunction with the raising and administration of the job cards.
- Managing goods inward/outward will also be part of your remit.
- The role will also require the costing of work packages and issuing formal quotations to the client.
- Processing and acting on received order numbers is a precursor to the raising of job cards and parts ordering and forms part of the role.
This role is full time on a 60 FTC, 37.5 hours per week and is based at our Larbert site.
Agile working may be available to employees in some instances, applying the principles of fairness and consistency whilst ensuring that the overriding business needs can be appropriately met.
Essential experience of the Service Co-ordinator
- You will have proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently in challenging situations.
- You will be experienced using all forms of Microsoft packages.
- You will have experience in administration supporting field-based services.
- It would be beneficial, but not essential, to have a basic understanding of technical engineering words/phrase.
