Reporting to the Senior Engineer Ambulance Victoria (SEAV), as a key member of our Engineering team, you will be instrumental in supporting the maintenance of Babcock’s fleet of AW139 helicopters.  Based at Essendon Airport, this is a fixed-base opportunity working Monday to Friday that will support the efforts of our Mission Critical Services at Babcock.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Carry out inspections and maintenance of AW139 helicopters in a timely manner.
  • Ensure maintenance documentation is completed accurately.
  • Follow workplace safety policies and procedures to ensure safety compliance is adhered to.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

 

 

About you

 

You are an experienced LAME with a positive attitude and willingness to learn! You are passionate about not only Aviation but wanting to take your career further within an evolving industry and company.  

 

Ideally, you will have the following experience and qualifications:

 

  • CASA B1.3 LAME license with Type rating
  • AW139 type rating (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage aircraft support/role equipment and advantage
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal to allow you to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • The ability to work as part of a team with flexibility, drive to achieve outcomes and a bright outlook.
