Technical Lead

About the role


Here at Babcock International we’re looking to recruit a Technical Lead to join the Test Equipment Team providing first line management capability, through life support, for all in service Test & Measurement Equipment on behalf of the Authority and Tri-Service community.


You will be responsible for the day to management of the calibration supplier framework, authorising monthly & adhoc requirements for calibration and repair. You will also provide a single point of contact to the Operational Infrastructure project team and the Test Equipment user community for all technical and supply queries.


In addition, the Test Equipment team will, through the product lifecycle (CADMID), provide support to the Contract Management team to ensure the timely implementation of contracts to support general or specialist test and measurement equipment.


What do I need to do the role?


You will hold an Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical based apprenticeship and come from an Engineering technical lead background.


You will also have excellent line management experience.


A driving licence is essential.
