The role

As Process and Adoption Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how engineering processes are modernised, aligned and embedded throughout a global organisation operating at the heart of defence, aerospace and engineering. This is an opportunity to influence how digital engineering practices are adopted across Babcock, driving improvements in efficiency, quality and compliance while enabling teams to deliver engineering excellence that supports national security and critical infrastructure.

This role offers the chance to expand your leadership impact, collaborate with diverse engineering communities and play a key part in Babcock’s ongoing digital transformation.

Day-to-day, you’ll work as part of the Global Engineering Team, leading process alignment to digital engineering capability and ensuring new ways of working are understood, embraced and sustained.

  • Align engineering processes and workflows to PLM‑enabled, CAD and MBSE digital capability, ensuring they are understood and consistently adopted across the organisation.
  • Take ownership of end‑to‑end engineering process performance, ensuring clarity, efficiency and continual improvement.
  • Build strong relationships across engineering leadership and teams, understanding real‑world challenges and driving user‑centred process adoption.
  • Use data, feedback and structured methodologies to continually refine and enhance process effectiveness.
  • Influence stakeholders at all levels to promote standardised and coherent ways of working across the global engineering community.

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with days onsite and days working from home.

  • Experience implementing standardised processes across multiple regions or business units.
  • Familiarity with process modelling techniques such as BPMN.
