About the role:


Reporting to our Maintenance Delivery Manager, you’ll form a key part of our Maintenance Delivery Team under the Hāpai Taua Manuao (Maritime Fleet Sustainment Service) contract with the Royal New Zealand Navy.


Some of your key responsibilities will include:


  • Conduct investigations into all assigned maintenance management amendments
  • Ensure maintenance schedules and instructions solutions are practical, robust, operable, supportable and fully compliant.
  • Produce technical instructions to the agreed templates and standards, with detailed technical investigations reports and recommendations.
  • Provide Bill of Materials (BoM) and resource estimates for all technical instructions.


About you:


  • Hold a relevant degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • Have at least 1-2 years' relevant experience in relatable engineering roles
  • Proficient skills in CAD software packages – including 2D/3D modelling (Autodesk products desirable).
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks applicable to commercial marine vessels including New Zealand and Navy fleets.
  • Demonstrated experience within the Defence/Defence Industry would be advantageous / highly regarded
