As a Supply Chain Development Specialist - 12-month FTC, you’ll have a role that’s our of the ordinary. As a Supply Chain Development Specialist, you will be integral to delivering innovative supply chain solutions to support future growth opportunities pursued by the business.  This role offers opportunities to deliver huge impact to the business as you design and develop supply chain strategies that deliver the maximum value add to Babcock and our Customers.


Day to day, you’ll deliver innovative, supply chain solutions, identify and secure value opportunities and levers to deliver competitive advantage, collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance the supply chain involvement, identify, and mitigate risks throughout your projects and ensure compliance to governance, restrictions and controls as required

This role provides hybrid working in Devonport or Bristol with 1-2 days per week onsite it also provides flexible working with UK and international travel expected as and when business requires.

Essential experience

•    A bachelor’s degree or equivalent 
•    Membership of a relevant professional body, for example the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply at a Level 4 or above.
•    5 years’ experience within a Supply Chain role, preferably in a Defence or Engineering environment
•    We are looking for individuals that will bring big ideas and solve complex problems with simple, elegant solutions
•    Obtain or have the ability to obtain BPSS clearance
