As a Programme Reporting Lead, you’ll take ownership of programme‑level reporting across a growing portfolio of major infrastructure investments within our Naval Nuclear business. This is a high‑profile role where your insight, analysis and reporting expertise will directly influence decision‑making, shape performance conversations and support the long‑term delivery of nationally significant defence programmes.
Day-to-day, you’ll design and deliver clear, trusted and insightful reporting that enables senior leaders to understand progress, risks and opportunities across multiple programmes. Working closely with project and programme teams, you’ll bring data to life, turning complex information into meaningful insight that supports effective planning, assurance and investment decisions.
- Designing, developing and maintaining programme‑level dashboards and reporting packs using clear and accessible data visualisation.
- Analysing cost, schedule, risk and performance data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Coordinating with project teams to ensure accurate, timely and consistent reporting across programmes.
- Facilitating regular reporting forums with the project management community to align reporting standards and expectations.
- Providing clear, data‑driven insight to senior stakeholders to support effective decision‑making.

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.
Essential experience of the Programme Reporting Lead
- Strong knowledge of project and programme controls, including cost, schedule, risk and change management.
- Proven experience in data modelling, analysis and performance reporting within complex environments.
- Hands‑on experience using reporting and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Azure DevOps and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to communicate insight clearly at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively within cross‑functional teams.
Qualifications for the Programme Reporting Lead
- Qualification in a relevant discipline such as data science, finance, business or project management.
- Experience of P3M reporting and strategy development.
- Certifications in project or programme management methodologies (such as MoP, P3O, MSP, Prince2 or Agile).
