The role
As a Lock Out Tag Out Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team who manage/oversee the safe maintenance and operations of the Devonport Royal Dockyard.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll be ensuring the safe isolation of infrastructure systems and equipment within the Devonport Royal Dockyard.

 

  • Managing and administering the isolation control process to ensure that intrusive work is being undertaken within the Licensed Site. 
  • Providing independent verification of isolation processes and ensure that isolations are compliant with the appropriate Licenced Site Facility Baseline Isolation Standards.
  • Providing education/advice/briefs/training where necessary to ensure that all Licenced Site facility users are competent in the conduct of the LOTO process.
  • Supporting the appropriate Plant Manager (PM) in ensuring the compliant control of systems and equipment isolations in the Licenced Site.

 

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.

 

Essential experience of the Lock Out Tag Out Manager

  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Packages including – Excel and Word.
  • Previous experience with isolation control and management. 
  • Previous experience in delivering training - Desirable. 

 

Qualifications for the Lock Out Tag Out Manager

  • NVQ Level 3 in Engineering discipline or equivalent experience

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
