The Role
As a Lead Estimator, you'll play an extraordinary role. Leading a team of developing Estimators, you will manage their outputs to contribute to wider project deliverables in a dynamic environment.
 

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage team outputs for successful delivery of Submarine contracts.
• Capture additional or emergent work during the Project Execution Phase.
• Provide insightful management information to support senior management decision making.
• Improve team capabilities and maintain a high-performing estimating function.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to build lasting relationships and manage multiple priorities.

Essential Experience

• In-depth management experience, with prior team leadership.
• Proven financial/estimating background.
• Experience in leading various projects.
• Working knowledge of work measurement, cost estimating, cost and data analysis, cost modelling, and assurance.
• Strong people skills and stakeholder management experience in situations of competing priorities.

Qualifications

• Degree level or above in a STEM subject.
• APM PFQ qualified (desirable).
• Professional finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
• Membership of ACostE is beneficial.
