The role

As a Commercial Advisor, you’ll be a key strategic partner to our customers, including the MoD and the Royal Navy. You’ll help ensure our commercial interests are protected and our contractual obligations are met supporting the principal submarine contract and contributing to national defence.

Day-to-day you'll be part of the commercial team who is supporting contract management of the principal submarine contract. 

• Processing contract changes and advising on terms
• Setting up Non-Disclosure Agreements
• Supporting internal and external meetings
• Collaborating with finance to ensure accurate forecasting
• Working within a dynamic commercial team

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.

Essential experience of the Commercial Advisor

• Commercially astute with procurement knowledge
• Able to work independently and collaboratively
• Skilled in communication, negotiation and presentation
• Detail oriented with risk awareness
• Professional and supportive approach to stakeholders

Qualifications for the Commercial Advisor

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) and Baseline Personal Security Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
