The role
As an Auditor you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be supporting the Central Quality Department in its delivery of audits against the internal Audit Programme, as well as provide support and expertise to the business on Quality Assurance related matters.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll: 

•    Design and implement independent assurance activities for the business 
•    Undertake and lead internal audits
•    Review findings of audits and report to the organisation on levels of compliance recommending corrective action as appropriate
•    Support, agree and monitor the implementation of corrective actions 
•    Participate in and facilitate improvement initiatives

 

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.

 

Agile working may be available to employees in some instances, applying the principles of fairness and consistency whilst ensuring that the overriding business needs can be appropriately met. Experience of the Auditor:
•    Experience working in a professional services, quality or audit role
•    Extensive knowledge and ability to apply standards of ISO9001, ISO14001 and/or ISO45001 OR similar Quality management standards
•    Knowledge of change management and improvement programmes
•    Knowledge of MOD quality systems, Nuclear License Conditions and requirements – Desirable
•    Understand business management system arrangements

 

Qualifications for the Auditor:
•    Lead Auditors Qualification or Internal Auditor Qualification – Desirable
•    To hold or can demonstrate progression towards professional membership (CQI/IIA etc) – Desirable  

 

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
