The role

As an Administrator, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. We are seeking a dynamic and reactive individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. You will need strong computer literacy skills with a willingness to learn and develop. 

Day-to-day, you’ll be working within the Operations and Maintenance department of Nuclear Operations as an Administrator.

• Proactive diary management for the Head of Operations and Maintenance and his Deputy.
• Daily review of the Maintenance Statistics Report and follow-up with supervisors when planned safety related maintenance tasks go overdue.
• Attending managers/stakeholder meetings as required, recording minutes and actions, distributing as necessary to the relevant stakeholders. 
• General administration duties such as ordering stationery, booking vehicles and personnel onto site, maintaining staff registers and archiving. 
• Updating and maintaining Operationss and Maintenance Metrics.

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.

Essential experience of the Administrator

• Proficient use of Microsoft suite Access/Word/Excel. 
• Extensive experience providing data analysis support. 
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Effective decision making/problem solving skills.

Qualifications for the Administrator

• GCSE in English and Maths at grade C or equivalent
• NVQ L2 in Business and Administration or equivalent - Desirable

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
