The role
As a Central Services Scaffolder, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will provide scaffolding services and multi skilled support across our RNAD Coulport site.
Day-to-day, you’ll provide scaffolding services and support to engineering teams to enable the completion of all planned preventative maintenance to ensure the department meets the objectives of the business.
- Ensure that work is carried out in line with current processes and make suggestions on improving systems and processes to increase productivity in accordance with set objectives and timescales (AC17)
- Lead or participate in scaffolding operations, both tube and fitting and recognised system scaffold products, in which they have been trained and assessed.
- Work within all H&S legislation, Safe Systems Of Work and control of work processes within BM&T Clyde policies.
This position involves working at height. Candidates must be able to work safely and perform tasks at varying heights.
This role is full time 36 hours per week and is based on site at RNAD Coulport. Monday-Friday with a half day on the Friday
Essential experience of the Central Services Scaffolder
- Working experience with Cuplock and Tube Fitting Scaffolding
- Knowledge of Health, safety, and environmental issues.
- Knowledge of Risk assessments and safe systems of work.
- Experience in Slinging and Fleeting
Qualifications for the Central Services Scaffolder
- Minimum of Scaffolder Blue Card Part 2
- Advanced Scaffolder Card Holder desirable but not essential
