The role
As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Working on supporting vital military satellite communication systems one day and developing new technologies the next. Your work will contribute to shaping the future of satellite communication systems within defence. And, with our track record of innovation, you’ll continually develop your knowledge and expertise.

Day-to-day, responsibilities and accountabilities include the delivery of key project management functions in support of the overall project delivery. Support the development of accurate and up-to-date financial and schedule estimates. Support the planning, monitor and control of work packages. Produce and communicate project-reporting data. Undertake of stakeholder management and communications activities.

This role is full time and is a hybrid role with 2 days per week onsite at Corsham.

Essential experience of the Assistant Project Manager:

  • Contract change process, and developing proposal responses to change requests.
  • Previous experience on a complex defence and telecommunication projects / programmes, preferably military SatCom
  • Project delivery 
  • Ability to champion high performance and inspire others

Qualifications for the Assistant Project Manager:
