The role
As a Site Control Room Operator Supervisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will provide supervision and leadership to staffing working in the Site Control Room 24/7/365.  


You will be responsible for supervising staff within the security control room and main receptions. Oversee the day-to-day management and coordinate activities within these functions to maintain effective site security and emergency response. You will lead a team who provide the first line of defence and response at site, you will ensure compliance with site security plans and emergency arrangements through operational activity in the control room and receptions. 
 
Other responsibilities include:
•    Responsibility for overseeing the operation of various security systems, including surveillance cameras, access control systems, alarms, and communication equipment.  
•    Compliance: Ensuring that all security operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
•    Managing performance of the team through effective management of sickness, wellbeing, and continual professional development.  
•    Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergencies promptly, coordinating security staff and resources to handle incidents such as breaches, alarms, or security breaches.
•    Risk Assessment: Identifying potential security risks and vulnerabilities and developing strategies to mitigate them. 
 
This role is full time, 42 hours per week and is based on site at Capenhurst.  
 
Essential experience of the Site Control Room Supervisor:

  • Leadership and Managing teams
  • Demonstrable ability to effectively prioritise and organise tasks in situations when faced with multiple demands and to remain calm under pressure.
  •  Ability to multi task and make effective decisions which are rationalised.
  • Training or Control Room experience would be an advantage

 
Qualifications for the Site Control Room Supervisor:

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
