The Role
We have an opportunity for a Software Engineer with C# and .Net Framework and, ideally systems integration experience, to contribute towards the development of a range of software projects and products.
As a Software Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will develop and utilise your experience in object-oriented Software Development, Computer Engineering and networks, and help to deliver novel solutions to our expanding customer base.
As a Software Engineer you will work as part of a team to develop software capabilities. You may work on a range of exciting projects from proof of concept through to customer delivered products and throughout the software lifecycle. Other responsibilities as the Software Engineer are:
- Contribute to requirements capture, design, development, test and delivery of software applications and products.
- Undertake troubleshooting, analyse and fix issues on existing systems.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with working days in the onsite and working days working from home. However, this role is largely remote but you will be required as and when depending on the business needs.
Essential Experience of the Software Engineer
- A background of object-oriented software development using C#, Microsoft .Net Framework (C#) and .NET Core.
- Experience with version management and control (for example git).
- A good understanding of software development and Agile Software Engineering best practices.
Qualifications for the Software Engineer
- A relevant Engineering or IT qualification such as a degree, foundation degree or Higher National Diploma.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. However, you will be able to start on Standard (BPSS) security clearance but you will need to obtain Security Clearance (SC) in post.
