We are looking for an experienced and motivated Project Delivery Manager/Scrum Master to take over the role for the duration of the maternity leave of one of our existing team members.

We need a Project Delivery Manager/Scrum Master to provide continuity to the leadership to our team in order to drive our research and development efforts and to realise innovation projects and prototypes across multiple domains. 


What do I need to do the role?
Who we’re looking for
We are looking for a maternity cover to take over the responsibilities of the Project Delivery Manager/Scrum Master. A successful candidate will take over a leading role in ensuring the effective delivery of our exploration and creation of new technologies and capabilities. 
Working with diverse stakeholders and the multidisciplinary TDI team, the successful applicant will facilitate the Scrum Framework with the team as well as help the team develop fluency in their agile roles. They will also be the person helping manage the resolution of team impediments. This position requires the continuous improvement of the team’s agile behaviours by using Agile principles and practices and well as promoting them across the wider business.
Due to the portfolio nature of the business the PDM/SM will reach across a variety of projects with a varied and changing set of technological challenges and applications. 
Whilst it’s likely that the successful applicant will hold an accredited project qualification (including Scrum Master certification), we are looking for someone who can also evidence an agile mind-set and demonstrate how they have championed new thinking and continuous improvement in the pursuit of successful project delivery. 
Communication and collaborative relationships will be key to success and the roles will require engagement internally up to Board level and externally with numerous partners and customers from a variety of industries. 
Whilst the PDM/SM is not expected to be a technical expert, they’ll have a natural affinity with technology and in a team working alongside technical experts. They’ll be capable of gaining a good level of understanding of the technical goals of projects, which will underpin their success in the role. 

You will have considerable experience in delivering projects and working as part of a team. In addition, you’ll have:
•    Experience using Agile methodologies in projects delivery, as well as teaching, coaching and mentoring in implementation of these methodologies
•    Experience in a Scrum Master role and relevant credentials
•    Experience managing complex projects, ideally multiple projects concurrently

•    An agile, learning mind and a natural curiosity about technology. 
•    Strong and adaptable written and oral communication skills, with the ability to influence and gain buy in. 
•    An aptitude for collaboration and problem solving. 
•    Effective self-management and organisation. 
•    The ability to lead and inspire diverse groups around TDI goals. 
You will be able to demonstrate that you are a critical thinker able to be innovative in your approach and thinking and able to work at pace balancing multiple priorities concurrently.  Collaboration, adaptability and inclusion are key to the success of Mission Systems and these will be core attributes of all TDI team members.
