As a Project Manager, you’ll lead the successful delivery of complex engineering projects from concept through to completion. You’ll have the opportunity to shape outcomes, drive performance, and collaborate with expert teams across multiple disciplines gaining exposure to cutting-edge technologies and nationally critical work.
This is a role where your leadership and decision-making skills will directly influence project success, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. You’ll build your career in a supportive environment that encourages continuous development and progression.
Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:
- Leading the planning and delivery of projects to agreed scope, schedule, and budget
- Managing stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment
- Monitoring project performance and managing risks, issues, and change control
- Coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and objectives
- Ensuring compliance with governance, safety, and quality standards
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with Wednesday and Thursday onsite (although this is flexible) and the other days working from home.
Essential experience of the Project Manager
- Demonstrating experience delivering complex projects in engineering, defence, or similar environments
- Managing budgets, schedules, and resources effectively across project lifecycles
- Engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels
- Applying structured project management methodologies
- Leading and motivating multidisciplinary teams to deliver results
Qualifications for the Project Manager
- PMQ or PPQ (desirable) or equivalent Excellent stakeholder management
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
