This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multi-discipline team in the delivery of UK Military Flying Training.

The PMO role will be to support a small group of programme/project managers in the co-ordination, organisation and control of their programmes/projects. It offers the opportunity for development in the management of complex projects and diverse stakeholders within the public and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Performance

  • Develop and maintain the programmes/projects library, filing, recording and reporting systems including SharePoint sites
  • In support of the Programme Manager(s) co-ordinate the production of management reports and produce monthly programme summary reports
  • Work with finance and Programme Manager(s) to record and report on programmes costs and budget adherence
  • Advise and assist project team members in the application of corporate project procedures, disciplines, recording and reporting standards,
  • Assist the project manager(s) the collation of SDSR risk register and issue log
  • Assist the Project/Programme manager(s) manage change control records
  • Support effective communication mechanisms between PMO/programme/project teams including with the MOD.
  • Support Master Planner in the development of and the introduction of the P6 planning tool

Desirable:

  • Good Knowledge of Project Management Tools 
  • Experience of working with the UK MOD Programmes
