The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll maintain machinery at our specialist mission systems production facility. 

 

Day-to-day, you’ll maintain and repair machinery in our production facility including CNC, manual machinery and robotics. 

 

  • Ensure downtime is kept to a minimum by with effective maintenance planning
  • Manage breakdowns and planned services of plant equipment 
  • General day to day maintenance activities 
  • Keep accurate records of work activities 
  • Support continuous improvement efforts across the business

 

This position involves manual work. This could include lifting, bending, using tools or standing for extended periods of time.

 

This role is full time, 36 hours per week and is based on site at Ashton, Bristol. 

 

Experience required of the Maintenance Engineer

  • Mechanical and / or Electrical background
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and basic electrical systems
  • Ability to fault find 
  • Prior experience working in a production environment beneficial 

 

Qualifications required for the Maintenance Engineer

  • HNC / HND or equivalent in relevant engineering subject
  • 18th Edition beneficial but not necessary

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
