The Role
As a Mobilisation and Transition Lead, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be responsible for the strategy and management of all activities relating to the trainistion of an MOD contract to Babcock delivery.
Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for the producing and managing the contract mobilisation and transition plan including the technical offering and organisational structure.
- Manage the mobilisation and transition process whilst collaborating with all key stakeholders
- Work with SME's to define functional mobilisation plans
- Support tender writing and advise on project plans
- Highlight risk asscociated with mobilisation and transition to the leadership team
- Cascade agreed mobilisation and transition information to the authority and affected staff
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and requires regular travel across a range of internal and customer sites on a weekly / monthly basis alongside home working arrangements.
Essential experience of the Mobilisation and Transition Lead
- Previous experience of designing and executing a mobilisation and transition plan
- Previous experience working with MOD and/or Civil Service
- Advanced change and project management skills
- Experience of using project management tools
Qualifications for the Mobilisation and Transition Lead
- Degree level qualified preferred
