The role
As a Head of Commercial, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. The role offers a wide variety of development and personal growth opportunities, and we are looking for people who are not afraid of responsibility, who can challenge the norm/raise the bar and who work collaboratively with project teams, stakeholders, and our partners to achieve the best commercially position possible.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll support our drive to transform Mission Systems by delivering innovative and pragmatic commercial solutions for our customers, and our business.  

 

  • Conducting pricing activities and dynamic contractual risk assessments
  • Supporting tender and organic growth activities at every level to achieve our customer’s mission.
  • Managing existing contracts
  • Undertaking negotiations

 

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based at Bristol.

 

Essential experience of the Head of Commercial

  • Experienced commercial individual who has a track record in bidding for, negotiating and managing complex and/or Highly strategic contracts.
  • Has commercial and contracts experience and demonstrable track record of owning and delivering pre and post contract and commercial activity. 
  • Experienced in defining, driving, and overseeing commercial and contract governance.
  • Identify and implement pragmatic commercial solutions to achieve a win-win.

 

Qualifications for the Head of Commercial

  • Ideally qualified to degree level or equivalent achieved through extensive and demonstrably successful experience.

 

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
