The Role
As a HR Business Partner, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be a key partner in Owning and Delivering our ambitious people agenda within the Space leadership team, as well as supporting the roll out of all new change programmes.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll:

  • Support the development of the people agenda, championing employee engagement initiatives, and acting as an advocate for your business area.
  • Develop and implement the associated people plan, initiatives and processes for your business area, to build a healthy, high-performing organisation.
  • Build strong and influential relationships with key stakeholders, including trade union and employee representatives and colleagues across the sector, to deliver our strategic objectives.
  • Coach managers to improve their impact as leaders, and enabling them to resolve complex employee cases, seeking legal advice where required.
  • Support and develop internal communications.

 

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the onsite and 3 days working from home.

 

Essential Experience of the HR Business Partner

  • Proven HR Business Partner, with significant generalist experience including resourcing/talent acquisition, reward, talent development, change management, and employee relations.
  • Demonstrates commercial awareness with a good understanding of the business environment including customers, competitors, etc. 
  • Experience in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
  • Experience of project management and prioritising deliverables to independently manage multiple business change projects and day to day operations simultaneously.
  • Experience with a HR Shared Services model and HR Information Systems (i.e. Success Factors).

 

Qualifications for the HR Business Partner

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
