The role
As a Global Product Safety Training & Promotion Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Leading the development, co-ordination, review, and delivery of Product Safety training, and for promoting Product Safety initiatives, themes and concerns across Babcock International Group.
Day-to-day, you’ll ensure that Product Safety training and messaging initiatives align with broader safety and quality messaging strategies as well as ensuring Product Safety messaging is consistent with and supports the overall Engineering & Technology Communications strategy.
- Design and deliver a Product Safety training program to ensure awareness across all levels of BIG
- Create and run a Train-the-Trainer (TTT) program to build internal facilitation capacity
- Implement tools to track training effectiveness, including surveys, attendance, engagement, and feedback
- Establish continuous improvement processes to align training with the Global Product Safety strategy and keep content relevant
- Develop and execute a communications plan to share Product Safety information with employees, contractors, suppliers, customers, and stakeholders
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.
Essential experience of the Global Product Safety Training & Promotion Manager:
- A training development / delivery subject matter expert with knowledge and experience in the application of Product Safety and Safety Management
- Leadership experience in change management
- Practical experience in developing and delivering internal communications
