The Role

As an Equipment Analysis Engineer, you'll play a key role in improving the availability, reliability and supportability of equipment that supports the Royal Navy's combat and strategic systems. Working within the Weapons and Complex Systems team, you will analyse maintenance and inventory data to identify risks, optimise spare parts holdings and support informed decision-making across complex engineering programmes.

  • Assessing the impact of maintenance performance on equipment reliability, availability and operational effectiveness, and providing evidence-based recommendations.

What you’ll need:

  • Experience of logistics and supply chain management, including inventory management, spare parts optimisation and maintenance planning within a regulated environment.
  • Understanding of procurement processes, stock management, lead times and spare parts forecasting.
  • Knowledge of maintenance regimes, equipment sustainment and factors affecting asset availability and reliability.
  • Ability to analyse maintenance, inventory and performance data to identify trends, assess risks and develop recommendations.
