We have a great opportunity here at Babcock International for a Customer Service Advisor to join the team providing a leading fleet management service to all our MoD customers worldwide.

Who we are looking for?


We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator to build rapport with the customer whilst handling varied queries as well as having great interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others. 


You will be resilient and have the ability to identify the customer needs and respond to them in a calm and friendly manner, as well as being focused on efficient and effective delivery and achievement of the KPI targets in the team. 
What will you be doing?


As a Service Centre Advisor you will play a key role as the first point of contact for all enquiries via phone and email under the contract supporting the wider team as part of a global fleet management service.  


You will be an important first part of the customer journey, making sure that the Babcock values shine through in everything you do. Typically handling queries of a varied nature across a realm of services including but not limited to: Rental Provision, Lease Provision and management, scheduled services, incidents and events. Your duties will include:


•    Answering phone calls providing excellent communication and customer service.
•    Responding to emails.
•    Problem solving.
•    Working to SLA’s with regards to response times
•    Providing support to suppliers and customer throughout the booking process 


The experience you’ll bring
•    You will ideally come from a customer service background however we will consider people from any background such as retail and hospitality 
•    You will demonstrate resilience and empathy as well as problem solving. 
•    You will also possess good Excel and Microsoft word & outlook skills. (Essential)
•    Educated to GCSE level (Essential)
•    Experience of fleet management (Desirable)
•    Experience of Multi-Channel Service centre operations (Desirable)
•    Knowledge of the Transport Industry and MOD Environment (Desirable)
