The role
As a Commercial Support Advisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. As a Commercial Support Advisor you will provide crucial support to our Commercial Specialist across various aspects of the role. Day to day, you’ll work alongside a team of Subject Matter Experts (SME) supporting the wider function. 

Day-to-day, you’ll Assisting with Request For Quotation (RFQ) responses to ensure accurate and timely submission of proposals.

• Supporting the development, submission, negotiation, and workflow of contract proposals to optimize commercial outcomes.
• Overseeing COMPASS (or similar software) management and reporting to track and analyse commercial performance metrics.
• Assisting in commercial processes related to subcontractors and external services to ensure efficient project execution.
• Interfacing with ITAR and trade control teams to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and requirements.

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.

Essential experience of the Commercial Support Advisor

• Familiarity with RFQ processes and contract negotiation.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of ITAR regulations and trade controls - Desirable
• Proficiency in COMPASS or similar.

Qualifications for the Commercial Support Advisor

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in commercial or contract management roles.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
