The role
The difference our new Assurance Lead will make:
The Assurance Lead will be responsible for organising and managing all assurance events including the aggregation of the supporting information, evidence, and deliverables to be achieved for the events to be successful. This will include liaison with all elements of the project delivery team in conjunction with the Customer’s Assurance representatives to ensure that the programme Verification, Validation, and Test Strategy is delivered, and the Assurance Case is created and subsequently maintained through contract life
Day – Day:
Key responsibilities include ownership of the programme VV&T Strategy, the creation and execution of all internal and customer acceptance events, the production of VV&T reports and delivery of the overall Assurance Case. Day to day, you’ll be the subject matter expert specifying test and trials, collating, and presenting the specific evidence required to demonstrate to the project, customers and stakeholders that the team, processes and systems employed meet contract requirements and are sustainable for the long term. You will also work closely with the Requirements Management team to ensure that the Verification and Validation Requirements Matrix is maintained.

Essential experience
• Systems Engineering or full lifecycle project management experience.
• The creation and sustainment of an Assurance Case in a complex defence and telecommunication project / programme, preferably military SatCom.
• Practice in demonstrating Service Assurance and JSP604 compliance.
