The role
As a Appian Developer you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary you will have delivery responsibilities within a team of dedicated developers such that the team delivers technical solutions for customers, on time and to the expected quality standard.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll be required to work with new and current software as you undertake technical design, software development and unit testing of new applications as well as continual improvement to existing applications.

 

Main Responsibilities 

  • To ensure software development is undertaken in accordance with IT quality, plan and procedures.
  • To undertake efficient software development using good design and implementation methodologies.
  • To undertake unit testing to verify developed software performs in accordance with the supporting requirements.
  • To prepare comprehensive documentation to support the completed application.
  • Take part in reviews of own work to ensure the continual use of best practice and local standards.

 

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.

 

Essential experience of the Appian Developer 

  • Understanding of Software Development – No experience required
  • Degree in Computer Science
  • Passion for Software Development

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
