The role

As a Finance Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll act as the vital link between project, engineering, production and leadership teams—bringing clarity to financial performance and empowering better decisions. You’ll influence how projects are planned, delivered and optimised, ensuring robust financial governance while enhancing visibility of cost, risk and opportunity.

Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:

• Partner with project managers and technical teams, ensuring cost, forecast and performance data is understood and acted upon
• Deliver budgeting, forecasting, earned value analysis and estimate-at-completion reviews
• Embedding strong financial controls, governance and reporting practices across operations
• Supporting revenue recognition, project accounting and contract performance analysis
• Using ERP and reporting tools to enhance data quality, insight and decision-making

This role is based on site at Jakarta, Indonesia.

Essential experience of the Finance Manager

• Demonstrable experience in project accounting, operational finance, financial planning and analysis or controllership
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cost control and contract/project performance
• Experience in engineering, defence, infrastructure, manufacturing or other project-based environments
• Proven ability to partner with operational stakeholders and influence decision-making
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, IFS or similar

Qualifications for the Finance Manager

• Professional accounting or finance qualification (such as ACCA, CIMA, CA, CPA or equivalent)
• Degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline is desirable
