Engineering Assessor

About the role

Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit an Engineering Assessor.


You will contribute towards the achievement of apprenticeship scheme targets through the recruitment of learners at Bovington, delivering, assessing and/or monitoring Diplomas, and delivering functional skills training and assessment.


• Assess Learner work and other activities and feedback on progress towards completion of all relevant paperwork for the induction process as laid down by company policy and procedures and delivery profiles, ensuring that details are passed on to administration and the relevant company offices as learners are posted.

• Delivery of training for underpinning knowledge to support Learners’ successful completion of units towards their Apprenticeship Programme.

• Carry out training reviews with learners at intervals in accordance with SFA and Company guidelines.

• Deliver Diploma assessment and Employment Rights and Responsibility training.

• Act as a mentor/coach to Learners, offering information, advice and guidance as required.


What do I need to do the role?

• Diploma/NVQ Level 3 in sector related qualification
• Key/Functional  Skills Level 2 (or equivalent)
• Achievement of, or working towards level 3 Assessor awards
• Safeguarding Cert.
• Equality & Diversity Cert.
• Health & Safety Cert.
• Previous (Military) experience in Engineering
