The Role
As a Quality Practitioner, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be instrumental in ensuring quality processes are implemented and upheld across the site.  

 

Day-to-day, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring that one of our most important contracts is delivered to the highest standards:

 

  • Be the driving force behind quality assurance for infrastructure projects
  • Provide expert gudance and support to the project team, ensuring quality standards are met
  • Continuously analyse and improve project workflows to maximise efficiency and minimise errors
  • Proactively identify potential quality issues and develop strategies to prevent them and work to mitigate and manage
  • Attend delivery review boards 
  • This position may involve travel/working across a range of internal and customer sites, as a requirement of the role.

 

This role is full time, 37 hours per week, with a hybrid working arrangement. Three days per week at our Oakhanger site, and the remainder working from home.

 

Agile working may be available to employees in some instances, applying the principles of fairness and consistency whilst ensuring that the overriding business needs can be appropriately met. We are happy to consider flexible, blended working, including part-time, condensed hours, and job sharing. Please ask about alternative patterns of work at interview. 

 

Experience required of the Quality Practitioner

  • Knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Management System
  • Experience around process improvement 
  • Knowledge of quality tools (beneficial)
  • Experience gained within a related industry 

 

Qualifications for the Quality Practitioner

  • HNC or equivalent in engineering, quality or other relevant subject 
  • CQI membership beneficial 
  • ISO 9001 Auditor preferred but not essential 

 

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
