The role
As a Social Value Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be designing, delivering and managing the social value plan across our Ireland business to meet framework and customer requirements.

 

Day-to-day, you will create and deliver presentations to local schools across Ireland for all age groups and abilities regarding Railways, Environment, Biodiversity and Engineering.
  

  • Manage, implement, and take ownership a social value plan for the Ireland business. 
  • Attend meetings and create social value initiatives with clients and other third-party organisations such as charities, employment, and skills agencies.
  • Create and deliver presentations to local schools across Ireland for all age groups and abilities regarding Railways, Environment, Biodiversity and Engineering.
  • Lead the process of undertaking social value benchmarking across the UK and Ireland.
  • Challenge the supply chain to ensure all social value opportunities are maximised and fill the opportunities for apprentices, work experience placements on the project.


This role is full time working 35 hours per week.

 

Essential experience of the Social Value Manager: 

  • Have a strong understanding of both the UK government and Northern Ireland Executive social value model.
  • Experienced in developing and implementing a unifying Social Value / Impact strategy.
  • Strong attention to detail and experience of social impact reporting.
  • Able to identify appropriate data sources, interpret the information and use it to translate analysis into meaningful recommendations and actions for internal and external audiences.
  • Experience of training delivery in the local community.

 

Qualifications for the Social Value Manager:

  • Studying towards a relevant degree or equivalent qualification
