About the Role
Babcock is seeking a Supply Chain Bid Support Specialist to join our team on an 8‑month contract, with a flexible location anywhere within Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting bid activities across our Land, Marine, and Air divisions, helping shape the future of our programs and projects.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our Business Development team and senior P&SC leadership to coordinate input from existing delivery elements, ensuring bids are robust, competitive, and aligned with professional standards. You’ll be responsible for managing key supplier and subcontractor onboarding processes, supporting governance and compliance, and ensuring all bid documentation is completed and submitted on time.
You’ll also collaborate across Contracts & Procurement, Supply Support, and Logistics & Warehousing workstreams to leverage existing contracts and information. Your expertise will help guide the wider P&SC function, providing recommendations on performance, compliance, and opportunities for improvement.

To be successful, you will bring:
- Australian Citizen with a current Defence Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain).
- Previous experience in a similar role with demonstrable skills in Governance and Compliance requirements for Procurement and Supply Chain Management professional standards.
- Qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Law or in any related discipline.
- Knowledge and understanding of Commonwealth Procurement processes and policies and practical application of the Commonwealth Procurement Guidelines would be advantageous.
