Registry Clerk/Driver – Full time
About the role

Here at Babcock International we’re looking to recruit a Registry Clerk/Driver


The main duties of your role will be to help sort incoming and outgoing mail relevant to the addressee, carry out any vehicle checks as per MT Orders and be responsible for the cleanliness and for refuelling the vehicle.


At the discretion of the Manager, you will generally rotate duties, so one week you will do the morning run and the following week the afternoon run. When one clerk/drive is away you will carry out both mail runs.


When working in the Central Registry, you are responsible for carrying out all routine tasks such as signing for items from couriers and notifying the recipient of their arrival.


You will be required to use your own initiative in order to ensure the smooth running of the section.


What do I need to do the role?


You’ll need to hold the following:

• Knowledge of general office administrative processes and activities.
• Postal procedure knowledge
• Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office.


What else do I need to know?
• The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
