About you   

We are seeking a skilled Systems Verification and Validation Engineer to join our FHFRR (Fixed High Frequency Radio Refresh) program in New Zealand. You will possess a strong background in systems engineering and V&V products with a proven track record of ensuring technical and contractual compliance. You will showcase your expertise in systems engineering to develop and apply V&V products and services.

About the role   

The Systems Verification and Validation Engineer plays a crucial role in the FHFRR program by applying advanced systems engineering techniques to ensure that products and services meet required standards. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the program acquisition aligns with Babcock’s technical assurance standards and meets Contractual Milestone Review criteria. Your efforts will be crucial in achieving a successful Final System Acceptance Test exit. This role involves conducting detailed technical investigation and analyses to provide critical data for problem assessment and resolution, as well as to support enhancements in product or service design and improvements to the V&V program.

To be successful in this position you will bring:

• Relevant experience in systems engineering and V&V technical roles
• Relevant degree in engineering
• Excellent technical communication skills- written and verbal
