About the Role
As a Senior Management Accountant at Babcock, you’ll play a key role in supporting the financial requirements of our Defence programs.
You’ll prepare forecasts, budgets, and contract reporting outputs, while delivering insightful financial performance analysis. Your expertise will ensure accurate month‑end activities, cash flow forecasting, and balance sheet reconciliations are completed on time.
This role is about more than numbers, you’ll partner with program stakeholders, support ad‑hoc projects, and provide financial clarity that drives decision‑making across the business.
About You
You’re a confident and detail‑oriented finance professional who thrives on producing accurate financial information and partnering with stakeholders to deliver results.
You combine strong technical knowledge with excellent communication skills, ensuring financial data is clear, timely, and actionable.
You’ll bring:

An undergraduate degree in Accounting/Commerce

Membership (or near completion) with a professional accounting body

Sound knowledge of accounting standards and financial analysis

Advanced Excel skills

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
