Babcock is looking for a Project Administrator to join the Calibration team based in Devonport, Auckland.
About the role
Join Babcock’s specialist Calibration Centre and play a central role in keeping critical engineering and defence projects moving. As the Project Administrator, you’ll be the key connection point between customers, technicians, subcontractors, and internal teams. This role brings variety every day—coordinating workflow, managing calibration documentation, handling incoming and outgoing equipment, and ensuring quality standards are consistently maintained. You’ll influence continuous improvement, shape the service experience for customers, and support operations that directly contribute to Aotearoa New Zealand’s defence capability.

About you
You thrive in a structured, technical environment where accuracy matters. You’re confident managing customers, coordinating workflow, and keeping records impeccably organised. You’re comfortable using ERP or MRP systems, communicating clearly, and supporting technicians and managers with reliable administrative delivery. You enjoy improving processes, working collaboratively, and handling equipment with care. You understand the importance of safety, quality, and professionalism—especially in defence‑aligned environments—and you’re ready to step into a role where your organisation and initiative make a real impact.

Key Required Qualifications
- 5+ years office administration experience
- Eligibility for Defence Security Clearance (DSC & CV)
- Valid motor vehicle driver’s licence
- Eligible to meet security and compliance requirements for defence‑related work.
