Babcock is looking for an Mechanical Engineer/Engineering Technician to join the team based in Devonport, Auckland on a 10-month contract.

We are seeking a Supportability Engineers or Engineering Technicians to lead and implement engineering change initiatives that enhance safety, reliability, and operational effectiveness. You will play a key role in assessing, planning, and executing modifications to ensure systems meet evolving operational requirements.

Key Required Qualifications

 

  • Degree or qualification in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in engineering change processes within defence or complex technical projects.
  • Eligibility for NZSIS Secret Vetting (SV) security clearance.
  • Membership or eligibility for IPENZ, PMI, or relevant professional bodies.
